Commentary:
	The Bosnian Pyramid Visoko also known as The Pyramid of the Sun (Bosnian: Piramida Sunca) eagerly awaits the team of scientists that is preparing to take a deep look and investigate the truth behind a theory that Bosnia-Herzegovina has a step pyramid that might be thousands of years old. January 2006 According to the Age, an Australian daily, a large team of archaeologists (or should we call them “The Pyramid Scientists”) from Austria, Australia, Ireland, Scotland and Slovenia is about to begin excavation work in April of 2006 on the Visocica hill which is the Bosnian pyramid main hill (20 kilometers north-west of the capital Sarajevo). The pyramid shaped hill is located on the outskirts of Visoko, the Bosnian town that claims that has an ancient civilization pyramid in its backyard.
	Ancient pyramids are scientific novelty in this part of the world and the event and investigation itself are drawing a huge local media coverage that saturates most of the media regardless of the format. Yet, the scientific community and a number of Pyramid Archeologists have expressed open doubt regarding the existence of Bosnian ancient pyramids. However, the physical evidence seems quite compelling and the the hill is rather symmetrical, and the hypothesis that it was once a pyramid is supported by a number of early investigations. So, if true, a scientific confirmation of the Bosnian findings might rewrite history and it might put Europe together with Egypt and South America as homes of ancient pyramidal structures. The discovery and research efforts are lead by Semir Osmanagic (he spent 15 years studying the pyramids of the Americas) who put forward a theory that a 100 meter pyramid-shaped mountain side with evenly shaped corners and sides and that point east and west as well as north and south, is in fact an ancient man-made pyramidal structure. So, the discovery and analysis in process right now and we hope that more info will be released earlier than the scheduled investigation completion date (April 2006).
